Detection must be available and coupled with effective protection, response and recovery in the event of a terrorist attack. The focus is on defense from intentional food contamination designed to have a catastrophic public health or economic result. This symposium gathers the leading experts in the field to address the challenges associated with defending the safety of our food supply.
