V. L. KLOERIS, NASA-Johnson Space Center, 2101 NASA Rd. 1, Mail Code SF3, Houston, TX 77058

An understanding of present space flight food systems will help the listener to interpret and put in context the requirements and constraints imposed on food systems for future long duration space missions. This presentation will focus on current space flight food systems with a brief mention of some history of these systems. Photos of the current space food system in use in microgravity will add to an understanding of the nature of food consumption in microgravity.
