Roadmap to e-learning |
C. T. KRICHBAUM, Fredrickson Communications Inc., 119 N. Fourth St., Minneapolis, MN 55401 Corporations are taking all kinds of steps to move at least a portion of their information to an environment where it can be delivered to multiple locations all over the globe. Some of that information is reference material of various sorts and some of it is training. Only about 20 percent of all training has, thus far, been moved to an e-learning environment, so there will be lots of projects taking place in the future. Whether your company is creating e-learning or creating e-information, there are a number of skills required to ensure the success of your e-learning endeavor. Best measured in the final performance of the user of that information, your deliverable’s success will depend upon many different skillsets that include computer hardware/software experience as well as content delivery expertise. A brief overview of those skills will be presented along with a discussion about how those skills result in successful user performance that meet your business objectives.
