Development of software for performance evaluation in Food Science & Nutrition

A software package has been developed for performance evaluation of food science & nutrition students and the professionals alike. The package aims to simplify the testing of student's aptitude and knowledge in food science & nutrition. A huge collection of questions in various fields encompassing food engineering, food chemistry, food microbiology, nutrition and other related subjects have been compiled with the package. The user can even choose a particular area like food engineering, etc. for the test/evaluation. A unique user interface and a multitude of audio/visual features have been provided with the package. Features such as predetermined time setting, question setting, warning indications, etc., along with a host of other new and exciting features have been incorporated into the software. The software also serves as an excellent test preparation kit for food science & nutrition students. Further links to various food science & nutrition and other related websites on the internet have been provided in the software.
