How much is enough? |
S. WILSON, Coordinator, Life Sciences Career Services, Texas A & M University, Koldus, Suite 209, College Station, TX 77843-1233 The bottom line is not the only aspect of a job offer to consider. Many undergraduate students are unaware of the importance of the total compensation package, including vacation, health insurance, and retirement plans. In addition, the location of the position must be considered, particularly in regards to cost of living expenses. During this session, a basic explanation of benefits and compensation packages will be discussed. Participants will be given guidelines for analyzing the total package in an effort to make the best decision about a job offer.
